Away supporters are housed in the Cowshed Stand behind one goal. Tranmere’s away guide and visiting club information identify the Cowshed as the away section, and it is a covered all-seater stand with its own facilities.
The Cowshed can hold a sizeable away following and has a distinctive sloped seating arrangement caused by the road layout behind the stand. It is a better away end than many at this level because it is covered, seated and fully separate, while still being close enough to the pitch for travelling supporters to make noise.

Rock Ferry is one of the best Merseyrail stations for Prenton Park, served by Wirral line services from Liverpool and Chester/Ellesmere Port-side routes. It is a reasonable walking option and useful if you are arriving through Liverpool city centre.
